Unicanvas has a 1-year limited warranty for the consumers.

The warranty is for a period of one year as of the date of purchase by the original buyer. This warranty is not transferable and extends only to the original owner for personal, non-commercial use. It is strongly recommended that the original owner retain proof of purchase. (This information will be required before considering a warranty claim).

THE WARRANTY COVERS ALL THE UNICANVAS PRODUCTS.

This warranty does not cover the damages occurred under conditions which are not linked to materials or manpower used when fabricating the products.

CERTAIN CONDITIONS WITHOUT HOWEVER BEING LIMITED ARE:

  • Damages caused by or resulting of faulty installation.
  • Damages caused by or resulting in the installation of accessories not authorized by Unicanvas.
  • Damages caused by or resulting of accident.
  • Damages caused by a blizzard, storm, excessive winds, heavy rain, water accumulation or other natural disasters.
  • Damages resulting from altercation or modification done by any other than the Unicanvas authorized personnel.

THIS WARRANTY COVERS:

  • Extreme discoloration. Nevertheless, it is normal to observe a light discoloration caused by ultra-violet rays.
  • Mildew (However mildew can appear if the dirt is not taken off or if the product is stored wet).
  • Crackling, hardening shelling under normal conditions.
  • Any defective part in the awning hardware mechanism when used under normal conditions. Conditions under which this clause does not apply, are stated above.

PURCHASE OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT VIA AN AUTHORIZED DEALER:

To obtain repair or replacement on a defective part, the buyer must return the defective part(s) to the authorized Unicanvas dealer where the purchase was made with a copy of the proof of purchase. Freight charges to get the parts from the dealer to the Unicanvas factory, and from the Unicanvas factory to the dealer will be covered by Unicanvas if the product is covered by the one-year warranty. If Unicanvas determines that the product is not covered by the warranty, the freight charges will be charged to the dealer and the latter will claim them from the customer when taking back the goods.

Freight charges from the customer to the dealer and from the dealer to the customer are always the sole responsibility of the customer.

PURCHASE OF A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT VIA AN AUTHORIZED DEALER:

To obtain repair or replacement on a defective part bought through the Unicanvas website, the customer must contact customer service who will ask for a photo or video of the defective part and proof of purchase. The freight charges will be covered by Unicanvas if the product is covered by the warranty. If Unicanvas judges that the defectiveness of the part is not covered by the warranty, the freight charges will be charged to the customer.

MANUFACTURER’S RESPONSABILITIES

The manufacturer will repair the parts and will ship these out to the authorized dealer/customer within the most reasonable delay. The manufacturer agrees to pay the freight charges for 90 days from the date of purchase by the original buyer.
